We went apple picking with close friends of ours. It started to drizzle as we pulled into the parking lot. However, the rain ended up holding off and we all had a really great time at the orchard. The afternoon started out with a hay ride out to the orchard. We were then shown how to properly pick the apples off the tree (lift up then twist). We could eat any of the apples we wanted. And we did. They were delicious. This is a trip we will be making every year from now on. While out in the 'country' it affirmed our desire to live further west. Country livin' is where we'll be. This was such a great day. Don't be surprised if you get this picture in a holiday card from us this year!
